Tour and Interviews

February 16, 2008

Hello people of the world,The tour has begun, and tonight’s show was great!  We had lots of people come out to the show and a special friend of ours, Kelley and her family, came over to visit us from Watertown, WI (they brought gifts that were made from another special friend, Megan).  Thanks to all of the people of Rhinelander for coming out and supporting the event.  You made it all the better.  Thanks to Ben (one of the volunteer that helped us) and his crew for freezing their tails off, while loading and unloading the equipment.  You guys were a great help to us all.  Also, we’ve been getting allot of media attention and interviews, and one of which is for the upcoming shows in Effingham and Decatur.  Click HERE to read the interview, and let us know what you think of it.  As always, we thank all of our supporters that are out there, and hope to see some of you in our upcoming dates.  Lots of LUV,Ben ;-)

We had a great time on WDJC with Jon Walden the other night - here’s a few pics from the show and from before the show. We spent the day with the guys from the station and DecembeRadio at Trussville Playstation where we played Laser Tag (my team won everytime - go Green!!), raced Go Karts, hit some baseballs in batting cages, rollerbladed, and played arcade games. It was an awesome afternoon! Be sure to check out WDJC online here.

532 miles!

November 13, 2007

That’s how many miles we traveled today… So all of us in the bus had some good quality bonding time. My day started w/ a hug from Boone (Decemberadio’s drummer), not once but twice in a ROW, he loves me ;-)… Then I ate lunch, took a little nap after that, a little catching up on work, and then the best part of the travel was playing Euchre (I think I spelled that right, its a card game), w/ Dave and Lindsey the light masters, check them out at www.uplighttech.com. Then we’re spending the rest of the night at a Kroger’s parking lot, YAY! Please check out today’s verse that I read it’s 1 Peter 2:15-16. I Love ya’ll and God Bless!!

Drifter Tour Update

November 7, 2007

Hey everyone,

The Drifter tour is going great so far even though its allot of hard work setting up and tearing down. Its always worth the work, especially when the people share how they were blessed with the event that night. We really enjoy the great company we have on this tour. All of the bands involved are such great people to hang out with as well as to work with. It just makes the journey allot more enjoyable when you have great guys to work with. We have been on tour for more than 2 weeks now and so far things have been going great! We have enjoyed all the people that we have come in contact with, and we really appreciate all of you who came out to the shows; you make the concert enjoyable. There is still a couple of weeks left on the tour, and I’m sure it will be just as amazing as the previous shows. Hope to see you on our next appearance.

See you soon,
Ben

Meyer Sound

October 25, 2007

Hello hello,
First of I want to apologize for not faithfully bloging. Last week, right before the tour with DecembeRadio, we got to hang out with Buford Jones and Paul Giansante (Meyer Sound People) at the Meyer Sound branch in Nashville, TN. For those of you that don’t know, Meyer Sound is a company that makes really, really, really high quality speakers that we use on the road, if you’ve been to our concert, then you’ve probably heard us through Meyer Sound. They don’t only make the worlds best speakers (in my opinion), but they also have the best customer service. These guys took the time out of their busy schedule (with out previous arrangements) to hang out with us, not only one day, but two (2) days! I felt like a kid in a candy store, I had to restrain myself ;-) We listen to several different speakers, talked about phase, lo frequency directivity control, frequency response, line array principle, TruShaping EQ, Milo, M3D, M2D, Mica, M’elodie, M1D, 700HP, HD-1… Man I’m a Nerd!! So if you’re a church, or an individual, that’s looking to upgrade or just getting new speakers you need to check out www.meyersound.com. I LOVE MEYER SOUND, YOU GUYS ROCK!!
