Lamoni was crazy! It was the first time we played in Lamoni, IA and you all were great we had a good time. Ashley Reynolds opened for us in Lamoni, and I think she did an incredible job! I’m looking forward to sharing a stage w/ her in the future. I pray that God will continue to bless your ministry, and I guess we’ll see you Saturday.

Sacred Ground Coffee house is sweet! If any of you reading this blog get a chance to be near Lafayette, IN you must go to Sacred Grounds - it’s located at 724 Wabash Ave. Lafayette, IN 47905, the people that run this place are just awesome, sweet, and simply amazing people of God. We had such a great time of worship there at the coffee house. April, thank you so much for your hospitality and the Indian food! It was so good, I’m actually eating some left over Indian right now, I just can’t get enough of this goodness ;-) Trent (I hope this is how you spell your name) thank you for inviting us to come and lead worship at your church.

Song of Solomon Conference, we haven’t done one of these for a while. It was very refreshing be leading worship again for the conference and just listening to Derwin Gray share about sexual purity. The one thing that spoke to me tonight was when Derwin talked about how young men need to wake up and relize that they need to be a leader, and be the man God wants us to be. The only way we can do that is by having a personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ, and not until Jesus is living through us, that we can be an example and a leader.

Last but not least I wanna thank Carrie Furry for coming out to our Lafayette and Whitestown shows to take pictures, we’ll post them hopefully within the next few days. And by “we” I mean Sean cuz he’s got all the pics, so Sean if your reading this, could you make sure that the pics are loaded within the next few days, please :-) Well that’s it for now, my bunk is calling my name. God Bless.

Stuck in Nashville

April 24, 2007

Hey ya’ll,

I’m starting to pick-up on the southern accent now! We’ve been here in Nashville for GMA week since Sunday. When we were at Rocketown yesterday, I got to meet John and Bob from Petra after they did their showcase. It was cool to see them again since the last time we toured a couple of years ago. They got a new album out, and the name of the group is “II guys from Petra). How creative is that?!! Anyways, now were still here in Nashville getting the wrap on the bus taken off; hopefully the paint doesn’t come off with the wrap. Okay, got to go back to work. Until next time.

fargo

April 17, 2007

I was definitely expecting us to be playing in a cold snowy field somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but Fargo turned out to be nothing like the movie. What a cool town! We ate lunch in the sweetest building - the Hotel Donaldson - check out some of the pics here. Then we played at the Oak Grove Lutheran School and everyone there was awesome! They also made us some amazing tacos and great dessert - possibly the best meal of the tour so far! Thanks to everyone for the incredible hospitality!

FAR away we GO!

April 17, 2007

Thank you so much people of Fargo! I enjoyed the time we had here. I especially would like to thank Dave and Sarah for their hospitality. The food was delicious!!! YUM, YUM. It was my first time performing at Fargo, and I had a great experience. Can’t wait to come back again! Until next time Fargo.

What an incredible show we had tonight - thanks to everyone who came and rocked out with us! And a special thanks to all the crazies in the front jumping all over the place - it was awesome being there with you guys! It was great meeting everyone - we can’t wait to come back! On a side note, I had the best lasagna tonight - and then topped off the night with some amazing rum cake. Wow. That’s really all I can say. We also left with 8 pounds of cheese from our amazing friends from Milbank! 8 pounds!!!

When we showed up to the church we had a little snag w/ the stage so we moved it to the gym and we set up on the floor. We apologize to some of you that couldn’t see; luckily my mom brought our camera for the night so we used it so that everyone could see. Thank you all for coming and making it a fun night even though there were some view restrictions. I pray that you all were touched one way or the other.
